Ana & Nacho

Our meeting with Andy was a happy coincidence that we remember photographically as if it was taken from a movie. The feeling then was as if we were reunited with a lifelong friend. Literally. Daily magic meant that from that day on we stepped into Andrew more and more, much more. Our daily route always seemed to overlap with him and we always had time to share a smile, an anecdote or a little grief… After confinement, life brought us closer and closer to him and then we also met Bea and the connection between our families became closer and closer. With them and with other wonderful families we made a tribe that vibrates in tune. A loving network, a family that is chosen. Now, in tears, we can only take care of the space Andy has left, being close to our beloved Bea and Olivia, and continue thinking of him, smiling every day as we walk through those streets that introduced Andrew to us years ago. The garden of ‘Quinta de Cervantes’ and ‘El Parque de las palabras’, here in Alcalá, will forever be a place where we can remember our ‘Dinosaurs or Monsters Game’ and see him smiling forever.

With love Nacho, Ana and family
